Chad is fantastic barber. I’ve been looking for a good barber shop since I moved down to San Diego and Pappy’s is the place to go to! Any of the Barbers here are a great choice but Chad is my guy, he always gets the cut right and makes the whole time you’re in the chair an enjoyable experience. 10 out of 10 would recommend!
This is the only barbershop I’ll go to as long as I live in San Diego. It’s most definitely worth the drive to Poway. Austin is an amazing barber and person, and the vibes at the shop are perfect. Great music, great cuts, and great service all around. 10/10 Would recommend to anyone and everyone
I’ve been going to Gehrig at Pappy's since 2017; first at the College location and later the Poway one. He’s always given me a great hair cut and is always consistent. I also love the choice of getting the back-neck tapered, squared, or rounded as well as the straight razor clean up at the end. Gehrig’s abilities, I like to think, represents what you get coming to Pappy’s. You’re paying for consistency and a high quality cut every, single, time.
Austin has been my barber for a few years, and she’s the best! I’ve followed her to a few different shops, and Pappy’s is great! The atmosphere is professional, yet relaxed. I can’t recommend Austin and Pappy’s enough. They’re amazing!
If you're looking for a professional haircut with great conversations, Austin is the perfect barber! I've had nothing but fantastic experiences with Austin, and each haircut is somehow better than the last. That being said, I've also had great interactions with everyone at the shop... so, you can't go wrong with any of the barbers at Pappy's.
